The heavy vehicles factory under the Ministry of defence has released advertisement to recruit 1850 Candidates for the post of junior technicians in the department. This hiring process, which will begin on June 28, 2025, is entirely contract based. This recruitment for junior technicians includes 20 different positions, such as rigger, carpenter, electrician, fitter, machinist, blacksmith, and welder.

Important dates For Ordnance Factory Junior Technician Recruitment 2025
The advertisement of the recruitment was released on the official website on 25th June 2025 where the department is inviting candidates to apply for the post of junior technician From 28 June 2025 and candidates can submit the application before the last date of 19th July 2025. Candidates will not get additional time to pay the fees so they need to submit it before the deadline of 19th July. Following that, the department will begin the application verification process and carry out the trade test from July 26 to July 27, 2025. The date of the result will be announced to soon on the website after completing the Trade test of candidates.

Candidates Can only apply if they are an Indian citizen, The minimum age of the applicant should be at least 10 years old however the maximum age should be less than 35 years old, Candidates in reserve categories will be eligible for an age relaxation from three to ten years, Minimum 10th pass is required for all the candidate, In the particular trade for which they are applying, the candidate must possess NAC, NTC, and STC.
